Features

Before starting any drilling work, all operators must wear full personal protective equipment: a hard hat, impact-resistant safety goggles, anti-noise ear muffs, durable non-slip workwear and steel-toe safety boots. Never wear loose gloves while holding the drill steel, as this can cause entanglement and serious hand injuries. Inspect air and water hoses thoroughly for cracks, leaks, loose connections or blockages, and blow out dust and debris inside the hoses before connection. Check all fastening bolts, control levers and the air leg support to ensure they are tight and fully functional. 
Follow strict pressure standards during operation: keep working air pressure at 0.4-0.63 MPa and water pressure at 0.2-0.3 MPa, ensuring water pressure is always lower than air pressure to stop water from flowing back into the cylinder and ruining internal lubrication. Dry drilling is strictly forbidden—always turn on the water supply first, then activate the air supply when starting up; reverse the order when shutting down, turning off air first then water. Stand in a stable, balanced position, never lean excessive body weight on the drill, and avoid standing directly in front of the drill steel to prevent injury from sudden breakage. Start drilling at a low speed to set the drill bit firmly into the rock, then switch to full speed; never force the drill or bend the drill steel aggressively, as this will damage the machine and cause safety hazards.
Proper lubrication is critical: use only special pneumatic tool oil, and check the lubricator regularly to ensure consistent oil flow—running the drill without lubrication will cause severe internal wear and permanent damage. If you notice abnormal noise, heavy vibration, air/water leaks or reduced drilling power during use, shut down the machine immediately for inspection, and do not restart until all faults are fixed. After operation, drain all residual air and water from the drill, clean the body and air leg thoroughly, and store the machine in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not disassemble or modify the drill without authorization, and only use original spare parts for replacements. Check wearing parts like chuck bushings and seals regularly, and replace them promptly to maintain stable performance.

Precautions For Use

1,Check the integrity and rotation of all parts (including rock drill, bracket, or rock drill cart) before drilling, fill necessary lubricant, and check whether the wind and waterways are smooth and whether the connection joints are firm.

2,Knock on the roof near the working face, i.e. check whether there are live rocks and loose rocks on the roof and second gang near the working face, and make necessary treatment.

3, the working surface of the flat shell hole location, is to be pounded flat in advance before allowing rock drilling, to prevent slippage or shell hole displacement.

4. It is strictly forbidden to drill dry eyes, and we should insist on wet rock drilling, turn on the water first and then the wind when operating, and turn off the wind and then the water when stopping drilling. When opening the hole, run at low speed first, and then drill at full speed after drilling to a certain depth.

5,No gloves are allowed to be worn by the drillers when drilling.

6,When using the air leg to drill the hole, pay attention to the standing posture and position, never rely on the body to pressurize, let alone stand in front of the rock drill under the work brazing rod, to prevent injury from broken brazing.

7,If abnormal sound and abnormal water discharge are found in rock drilling, stop the machine for inspection and find out the reason and eliminate it before continuing to drill.

8,When withdrawing from the rock drill or replacing the brazing rod, the rock drill can run slowly and pay attention to the position of the rock drill braze.
